The store portion (all user files) of the sysdump tape can be restored with
the :restore command. If you want to peruse what user files are contained
therein, use the VALIDATE utiiity which you should find in PUBXL.TELESUP or
various other places (including the Interex contributed library).
If you need to access the directory portion of tape, you can use
DIRMIG.PUB.SYS. Unfortunately, it requires you to log on as MANAGER.SYS,
EXCLUSIVELY on the system. You can use it to "graft" the directory on the tape
with the existing directory on the 950. (Strongly suggest a STORE
;*t;directory before yoy try this). Other portions of the sysdump tape, such
as rins, udc environment, logging environmement can also be retreived.
You will not be able to retrieve system configuration information to a large
extent - other than Network Management configuration information which can be
converted to iX format.
