Welcome to the choir, Martin.  It would have been good to
have you at IPROF, to add your voice to those pressing HP
to bring an HP supported C++ compiler to the 3000.  I.e.:
there is no HP-supported way to do this right now.

IPROF;   maybe he has already given you an update.....
