 - That's right.  HP-UX 10.0 discontinues NetIPC, which means that
   everything that used to run over NetIPC API will no longer run.  Since
   vt3k (of NS/9000 products) has been converted to run over BSD sockets,
   that will continue to exist even after 10.0.  I guess this leaves the
   following options:
 
     Terminal connectivity: NS/VT and telnet
     File transfer:         ARPA FTP and NFS from Quest
     interprocess comm.:    sockets app's (BSD on 9k, BSD & NetIPC on 3k)
