I recently received a Communicator 3000 MPE/iX-Express 2 manual. The
cover also refers to a Power Patch Tape C.50.02 and says based on General
Release 5.0. This communicator is very small (about 25 pages) and in
Chapter 4 it tells you about ordering a customized subsys tape, a
customized subsys tape with SLT and FOS, or the powerpatch tape only.
The way I read this communicator was that the subsys tape is for LaserRX
and the MOVER utility. Since I was only interested in the powerpatch
tape, I asked the engineer at the HP RC who I was working with on a
related 5.0 software question and he said he is not aware of a 5.0
powerpatch tape.

So... did anyone else receive this communicator? Is the subsys tape for
Laser/RX and the MOVER utility only? Most importantly, is there a
powerpatch tape for 5.0???

By the way, the problem I was working on was hanging dtc ports since
going to 5.0... and yes, there is a beta patch available to fix this.

Thanks.
