Hi Rich,
On my HP3000 series 48 trancomp, and transact run without tran000, and
trancat. So I thought i would create these two files on my hp937. This is
what i did:
1) save catalog as trancat
2) run gencat
3) select option 3 (format a new catalog)
4) reply trancat to source
5) save the new catalog as tran000
guess what, still same error.
Do i need to create these files (tran000, trancat) on my series 48, then
copy them to my HP937? or do I need some file equations? On my series 48
here is the udc that invokes trancomp:
********************************************************************
TRANCOMP IN=$STDIN,OUT=$NULL,INFOTEXT="DEFN"
COMMENT
COMMENT COMPILE RAPID/3000 TRANSACT PROGRAM
COMMENT IN = INPUT FILE (DEFAULT IS TERMINAL)
COMMENT OUT = LIST FILE (DEFAULT IS TERMINAL)
COMMENT INFO = COMPILER OPTIONS TO USE (DEFAULT = DEFiNitions)
COMMENT
FILE TRANTEXT=!IN
FILE TRANLIST=!OUT
RUN TRANCOMP.PUB.SYS;PARM=3;INFO="!INFOTEXT"
RESET TRANLIST
********************************************************************
This is so much fun. Help.
thank you
Zane
