Let me try and describe the environment first:
1. Logged on to our HP3000 (SYS7) ACCT1.
2. Established a DS session to (SYS7) ACCT2.
3. From ACCT2 established a DS session to (SYS2) ACCTa.
4. From ACCT2 established a DS session to (SYS2) ACCTb.
5. From ACCT2 tried to dscopy a file from ACCTa to ACCTb:
ACCT2#dscopy vpfcheck:ACCTa;vpfc:ACCTb
Source file: VPFCHECK.UTIL.ACCTA
UNKNOWN NODE. (SOCKERR 40)
UNABLE TO CONNECT TO TARGET NODE. (NS/NFTERR 6)
6. From ACCT2 tried to dscopy a file from ACCTb to ACCTa:
ACCT2#dscopy feq:ACCTb;feq:ACCTa
Source file: FEQ.TEST.ACCTB
UNKNOWN NODE. (SOCKERR 40)
UNABLE TO CONNECT TO TARGET NODE. (NS/NFTERR 6)
What am I doing wrong?
I know that I can 'pull' the files from ACCTa or ACCTb to ACCT2 and then
'push' them to the proper place or that I could release the file and copy
it directly from ACCTa to ACCTb but why the above does not work?
Are there some 'services' that need to be made available on SYS2?
TIA
