We tried to arrange a "live" internet link at our booth last year in Denver,
however, coordinating it turned into a nightmare. The convention center folks
didn't know what we were talking about (Internet who?) and finally (shortly
before the show) offered to run t1 hookups to booths on the floor if we got
a minimum of 4 vendors to participate (at a little over $4000 per vendor).
 
We also tried to work with the local Internet provider out there to do a
dial-up slip/ppp link; we started calling 3 months before the show; we finally
got calls returned the week before we left for the show.
 
Anyway, we thought it would be a nice idea too; have 3000s 'live' on the 'net,
doing e-mail, gopher, www, etc. We might try again for Montreal. Wish us luck.
 
John (sullivan @ interex) did manage to get a link to their booth...Maybe
he'll pass on some pointers! ;-)
