Some of our customers are converting their hpib 7980 to scsi
7980. I understand it costs about 2-3k. We have converted most
of our printing to networked lj 4 and 4si printers so a serial
2563b won't bother us too much. I'm motivated to can hpib so I
can remove the interface card and replace it with a fast-wide
scsi. That should keep my ol' 937lx hummin' for the next few
years.
