Now it is my turn to, even more sheepishly, withdraw my remarks about
the SCSI interface for the impact printers. I mis-remembered the
configuration details - *sorry*. I just checked again and you are right,
there is no SCSI for the impact printers.
Has HP considered a high speed centronics port for printing from an hp3000?
It is common on some Unix boxes and the speeds available now would support
high speed line printers.
