We change our console at boot time, moving it to another LDEV and running
operator menus on LDEV 20. Occationally someone (me) will take the
console, then thoughtlessly put it back on LDEV 20. The result is
garbled menus and frustrated operators.
The system should return the console to a known point if a VT connection
with the console is dropped, but the question is "which LDEV". I would
opt to make the default console LDEV configurable, but I wouldn't want to
do the programming.
