Perhaps not a lot of people care anymore, but let the
record show that TRANSACT/iX can talk to the HP-
supplied pre-processors, using the SQL-TRANS
product from Hermes Softlab (Rudi Bric) in Slovenia....
Or at least it did a couple years ago;  confess don't
know how long since SQL-TRANS has been updated.
But far as I know Rudi & Co. are still in business in
Lublijana (and if I'm within two letters of spelling that
right without looking it up tonight, I'm probably lucky).
Note Slovenia is one of the few parts of ex-Yugoslavia
that did NOT get shot to pieces.  Been there;  nice place....
 
HP tested Rudi's product and more-or-less blessed it.
SQL-TRANS works by doing the SQL access parts in
PASCAL.........  So as far as direct support by HP pre-
processors, suppose you could say Denys is right......
But us die-hard TRANSACT users have to tout the
product every chance we get....  Don't expect HP will...
