The FileNet software is an important new application for the HP 3000. FileNet
is not from HP, but from a company called FileNet, one of the clear leaders in
the field of WorkFlo and document imaging software. This software has now been
ported to the HP 3000 using POSIX, and is available today. For more info on
the product features, contact Nita Patel at FileNet, at 800-FILENET.

There is a lot of interest among HP 3000 customers in document imaging, and we
at HP have worked hard to make sure we have a leading solution like FileNet on
the platform. I am part of the team that has worked on this project, and I
have
submitted a paper to both Interex and IUG this year called "Document Imaging
with Your HP 3000". If they are accepted for the conferences, I hope you'll
be able to come and learn more about this whole subject.

Thanks for asking,
Kevin Cooper
