This is an interesting issue.  First VB is generally easier to learn than C, but
there are some problems in using VB.
 
1) The code is bigger and doesn't seem to perform as well.
 
2) VB only works on a PC Windows environment.
 
So generally we look at VB as something for Q&D items...
