Just in case these ring a bell with anyone...

The 5.0 Pull (thru X.50.24 Powerpatch) has a bug in that if you keep
running long enough and/or start recovery only, the JMAT gets corrupt
and the system thinks it's "full", resulting in CIERROR 6020 when you
try to log on (Insufficient resources for logon). This even on the
console as MANAGER.SYS;HIPRI;PARM=-1, mind you. The only fix is to
do a start norecovery. This HAS been fixed on the 5.0 Push. If you
need it for the Pull, get patch MPEGXT6 A.

Next, you may get LDRERR 472, XRT count mismatch, when trying to run
a freshly-linked program under certain conditions (mixing SYNC alignment
levels in various modules got us). This is SR5003-217141 and was a side
effect of the X.50.24 powerpatch linkedit.pub.sys. You can either load
the original back from your 5.0 Pull FOS tape, or get patch LNKGXX5 B.
(Bear in mind the old linkeditor didn't have the above problem, but did
have plenty of others!)

If in doubt, check your linkedit version:

   A.04.79 - base 5.0 Pull
   A.05.06 - X.50.24 powerpatch (and I think base 5.0 Push)
   A.05.08 - patch LNKGXX5 B
