Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on why a 9000 can't
dscopy to anyone other than itself. Note: our 3000 can dscopy to/from
the 9000 (i.e., when dscopy is invoked on the 3000).

Example:

   (on the dogbert 9000):

      dscopy -p -r foo george#mgr.fum#foo9
producer node did not provide data transfer information
      foo >> foo9
      NetIPC error = 40
dscopy: unable to connect to target node
      (NFT error 6)

When going to a 9000 from the 9000 in question (dogbert), it sometimes works
if the target node is fully qualified (e.g.: dilbert.allegro.com) but not
if it isn't fully qualified and it gets a:
   NetIPC error = 40
dscopy: unable to connect to target node
   (NFT error 6)

BTW, dogbert's /etc/host file has: #.#.#.# dilbert.allegro.com dilbert

thanks,
SS
