Greetings! If any of you have figured out how to use the HP3000 Intrinsic
HPCIPUTVAR would you mind enlightening the rest of humanity (or at the ones on
this list or even me)! The @#$@#$#@ manual makes absolutely no sense - none at
all!
 
I'm trying to assign a string variable called MMDD with no success. The manual
describes the command on pages 4-289 thru 4-291. Whoever wrote that section
should be shot.
 
Oh well. Help! :-)
 
Here's what I did...
 
HPCIPUTVAR(varname, status, itemnum, value, itemnum2, valuelen, itemnum3,
default);
 
Values:    'MMDD '    n/a    2       '0127'    11       4        14        0
