The 3000 as an Internet server would make a great demonstration at the next
Interex conference. Imagine a showcase of clients(gopher, www, etc) running
on PC's, and Email services on the 3000, and . . . well, you get the
picture.
If I were HP, I'd consider making a small system available, and contacting
vendors and those who have made free ports of other tools to colaborate
on the demo. Maybe even hook it up to the net for the duration of the
conference so folks could send out messages, telnet out to check their
home systems, etc.
Just a thought.
