Thanks to all the folks who commented on the problems we've
been having getting videotapes out in a timely manner. I've
forwarded your comments on to the people who handle order
fulfillment for us, and I have every confidence that they'll
take care of it.

At the same time, I have to say that I've been very
impressed with the job that they've been doing for us.
Registration for the 1/20 broadcast is now nearly 1,000 people,
far more than we expected, and more than half of those
registrations were called in during one 24-hour period!
While I'm very happy to see such a high level of
interest in client/server on the 3000, I feel I also need to
point out that Denys (and many other folks) have figured out
the secret to getting good service out of the 800 number:
Denys said:
"I did call when there was a lull in the industry, late August."

It should come as no surprise to anybody that there's
always a huge spike in traffic to the 800 number
whenever we announce a teleconference, and in the 3-4 days
before and after the event. If you can place your orders at
other times, you'll get much better service. Now if you'll
excuse me, I think I hear the phone ringing again...
