Jame,
Have you tried passive?
Type “passive” after typing “binary”

I have a set of STD files on a Unix host that I wish to transfer to an HP3000

When I try to transfer them to the emulator I get this error:
. . .
ftp> get ./STDHAL.1.1 ./STDHAL.1.1;CODE=STORE;REC=-256,,F,BINARY
200 PORT command successful. Consider using PASV.
150 Opening BINARY mode data connection for ./STDHAL.1.1 (717799936 bytes).
Data Transfer Request Failed. (FTPERR 13)
226 Transfer complete.
221 Goodbye.
There are four files in the set but only the first is started and that fails.
Both the Unix archives and the HP3000 emulator are on the same LAN segment.
Any suggestions on how to fix this?
