Hello all,
I'm trying to find an online copy of the finger client and/or fingerd server I wrote back around 1992, while I was working with Jeff Kell at UTChattanooga. I tried to find it on "opus" but I guess that site is gone (anyone have an archive of it?)
The finger client was cut 'n dry. The fingerd server was the cool part, and I dont know if Jeff ever shared that code. It called Image intrinsics to return real-time class tallies if someone were to point their finger client to, say, [log in to unmask] (I think that was the url)
I remember Jeff handing the source code to, iirc, Stan Sieler to make it pretty, maybe Stan still has a copy of it somewhere?
I have a printed copy on moldy musty greenbar, but I'm to lazy to retype them into a digital file :)
thanks for any help,
Ed
