With MPE-V, I believe there should be a VALIDATE program.
Maybe in TELESUP.
It will read an MPE-V tape, and show the files on it.
As I recall, the first file on a SUBSYS tape would either be the
PRODLIST.PUB.SYS
or a T######.PUB.SYS. (or is that just MPEiX?)
This file should lst the SUBSYSTEMS on the tape.
aha!!!!
Included is my old VALIDATE listing of MPE-40 Subsystem tape.
The first file T93525.PROD.SOFTREP would be a listng of the subsystems.
(well, I can't validate that at the moment, my 7980XC drive is not
connected)
But his is the format from VALIDATE.
Restore that T##### file to see what subs are included.
The file should be something like the following,
except this is whats on an MPE 6.0 Subsys tape (MPEiX).
DEVELOPERS SUBSYSTEM
