If you find a 33, make certain it has a genuine piece of cardboard taped over the right knee on/off switch which EVERYONE has hit at least once

...  I wish we had saved all our old stuff.  We are, trying now to get a series 2 or 3. For the SMECC MUSEUM project here in Arizona. .... I will kerp an eye open for boards for a 30 or 33 though!

We did save 2 cabinets if the hp 2000 system  need find. Disc drive...    We did save a first model 2116 Rev b  100 lb processor!

I take it the 33 is long gone, they use the same boards.

I always, wanted a 30 but never had one. The thought of a 3000 with a 8 inch floppy was intriguing!  The 33  was in a desk and was a freight damaged  thing we picked up.. never attempted to try to fix ( no built in floppy on 33)

We mainly used and maintained  series 2 and 3  machines. ... at the very end  we did have a series 40 but never had to work on it.

I have repaired the power supply and all is within spec. But now I need to find the fault keeping it from running. Ideally finding a spare set of boards would be the best but ,most likely this will be a long shot. I have the schematic, ce and diagnostic manuals and understand this is where the experts can be found.

It is now halted and I can run the cpuself test which fails on test 23(230) Rass register test. This is near the end of the rass tests.
