I just used my 700/92 to configure an old standalone modem with no
computer to answer on the first ring. Then put it in NVRAM with AT&W
Since I've been working at home I have got over two dozen calls in one
day either from:
- a political party
- medicare
- my vehicle warranty (my car is 20 years old)
- or any other scam call
Not all calls are robo-calls, I shall be pleased to know the caller will
get a modem screech.
(If I only knew which fixed baud rate gave the loudest sync tone, I'd
set it to that.)
