I haven't posted on this list in years, and now I have 2 in the same
day! Since I'm on a roll here, I wanted to ask another question.
I've been asked to look into using the HPCALENDAR intrinsic. I might
have used that in the past, but I don't recall it and don't have any
example of it.
Does anyone have a COBOL example of using this intrinsic that they
would share?
Now one other question on this; that I want to be sure that I
understand correctly;
Regardless of what method we use to get the date - we MUST apply a
patch to MPE or we go belly-up at the end of 2026 - is that correct?
But if we convert to using HPCALENDAR AND we apply an MPE patch - we
will be able to continue to run and get the correct date.
And one other thing to clarify - even if we converted to Stromasys,
that system still needs a patch to function correctly - is that right?
Thanks and stay safe everyone.
