Hi Ed,
We have no plans to make these patches for MPE/V systems.

Hello HP3000-L
Much has been written regarding the demise of the MPE Operating System after December 31, 2027. This has frequently been called the "2027 problem" but it is actually a 2028 problem. I can assure you that HP3000 systems will not crash when the clock strikes midnight 12/31/2027. Instead, the system date will read January 1, 1900.
Until now.
Beechglen has developed patches for MPE to extend capabilities to 2038. Read the details in the HP 3000 Communicator 2028 found here: http://www.beechglen.com/mpe/Communicator-2028
While it isn’t quite “MPE Forever” it does extend the HP 3000 lifespan by another 10 years.
In the coming weeks we will be reaching out to suppliers of MPE software, utilities, and applications who wish to become 2028 certified just like Adager and Robelle have already done so. We thank both of them for early participation in testing on our solution.
Contact Lance Mortenson for more information on certification ([log in to unmask], 513-922-0509 x425).
