We backup to both in the same job.  However, the tape backup occurs
last and is at the end of the batch job.  According to the console the
tape backup completed and then the job exited normally giving the
expected completion messages on the console.  However, there was no
job termination log entry (type=103) in the system log at the time the
system aborted.  Which seems to say that something went wrong as the
job terminated.
