We adjusted the power management to dynamic and we have increased our CPU to 3.28GHZ.
My 5 test jobs on my Development server went from 329 to 117 minutes !
HP ProLiant GEN8 2.6 GHZ cpu 8 cores shows up to 3.28 GHZ.
- Turbo Boost enable up cpu
- set the power management to dynamic!!
- yum -y install cpufrequtils.x86_64
- yum -y install cpupowerutils.x86_64
- hyperthreading = 1
- turbostat run before shutdown
Set the power management to dynamic did the trick.
Turbostat shows:
