I'm new to the HP3000 world (the new SIMH emulator brought me in) and I
have a few questions. I tried to post a week or so ago, but my message
seems to have gotten lost in the shuffle.

First, can anyone point me at some good documentation for new users? The
manuals currently on Bitsavers make reference to a guide for new users and
a guide for new operators, but neither of those introductory manuals don't
seem to have been scanned. Help finding them (or a suitable replacement FAQ
or other guide) would be useful.

Second, does anyone have access to the Contributed Software Library? Some
software other than the basic set of compilers included with the "starter
kit" for the SIMH 3000 would be nice. EMPIRE is of special interest.

Third, is there good HP terminal emulation available at hobbyist-friendly
prices (aka free or darn close)? There appears to have once been a freeware
package called QCterm, but it seems to have vanished from the Internet...

Thanks for your help. I look forward to learning more about this awesome
system.

Mike
