Ok, seriously …
MPE/iX:
Create CM STORE tape
put tape online
run tapesd.pub;info=“tape foo simh”
Opens “tape” (as dev=tape), opens “foo” (as disk) for output, copies the tape
into SIMH format disk file.
Mac:
FTP foo to foo.tape (binary)
hp3000 mpe-auto (run emulator, boot into MPE)
control-E
attach ms0 foo.tape
c
and MPE sees the tape drive coming “on line”
:file tape;dev=tape
:restore *tape;@;show;olddate
Note: that version of RESTORE does not support the CREATE option …
you have to create groups/accounts yourself.
