A very simple $200 tune up.
8GB memory256GB SSD
That will keep a lot of PC's from the scrap yard.

 Subject: PC tune up

OK all you gurus-

My desktop and laptop Dells are both starting to run slow.  Both are
good units, dual procs, 5 years old, Windows XP.  I want to keep them
if I can.  Although I'm not all that PC-techy, I suspect they need a
good tune-up and what else?  Reformat?  Reload?  What have others done
do give them a tune-up and stretch some more use out of them?

Many thanks in advance for advice.

Sincerely,

John Lee
