Hi Tom :)

Since you asked and my morning bus was stuck in construction traffic :P

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fourth-generation_programming_language has a bunch of actual programming language names listed. Informatics MARK-IV and Sperry's MAPPER being listed first. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_programming_languages_by_type#Fourth-generation_languages is also a great entry listing all sorts of languages!

I was most surprised by the listing of Nantucket's (originally now CA) Clipper (Compiler based xBase language)... Also, FoxPro (I was a beta tester for this one back in '89 :) ) DataFlex, and such.... :)

Art "What can I say.... I get bored on the bus :) hehehe" Bahrs

You have provided descriptions and/or definitions, but you haven't provided the NAME of the LANGUAGE.

I'm just asking for the NAME of a (so-called) Fourth Generation LANGUAGE (NOT the Product Name).

Kindest Regards,

Tom.
