It was just reported to me that Comcast came to one of our sites.  (Minnesota).
At first they were walking around the building with a device that looked like it came straight out of Ghostbusters.
Apparently the device had a small antenna on both sides.   The Comcast representative claimed there were some spurious radio signals being emitted from the building.
They asked to come in and quickly made the was to the computer room.  In the room the device pointed two systems an HP3000 959 and an A-class system.
When the device was pointed at the HP3000 systems the meter "went through the roof".   The customer then powered off the 959 and the "signal" went away.   Aparrently theA-class was also transmitting a signal, but that system can't be powered off.
The Comcast representative said it was a spurious signal and nothing could be done, they (comcast) would have to work around it.??????
The representative has left with no cause for concern.
Has anyone else ever had anything like this happen?
-Craig
