Yes, it does Mimic exactly what the Image TPI keys are. I’ve been talking to DISC and he informed me that “ The COGNOS TPI interface is DS aware but only works with IMSAM/Sorted/ASK indexes”. It does not work with Multiple/MDK TPI indexes.

Thanks for checking.

By the way all the other programs work with TPI. (Cobol, SuprtooL, DataDEx, ODBC, Query). It was just trying to implement the TPI in COGNOS products.

Subject: Re: [HP3000-L] Cognos and TPI compatablity question

Couple of questions.

Does the PDL mimic exactly Image and how Omnidex indexes are set-up?

If they do reset the TPI Omnidex indexes and try again

If the problem persists, access it using another method like Cobol to see if you are successful

Subject: [HP3000-L] Cognos and TPI compatablity question

Does anyone use Powerhouse with TPI with in the PDL dictionary? Version 8.29 or 8.49

I get message that says key/index does not conform when defining in the PDL

> GO

*E* Actual key/index layout does not conform to the expected key/index layout.

Define in the PDL.
