Thanks for letting us know Alfredo.
Fred was a truly unique and gifted icon.
Last I saw Fred was at an HP3000 rug get-together/conference just in or near Houston maybe 5 or 6 or more years ago.
I believe he was suffering with Parkinson's at the time, but you would hardly know it by his demeanour.
He was a joy to be with and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
