Hello All,

I have a (maybe simple) FTP question:
How can I tell the HP3000 ftp server to use a standard 'ls -l', and not
"LISTFILE ,2' ?

Explanation:
From a shell (cmd, bash, or ksh) I can connect to my HP3000 ftp service,
(get/put files) no problem.

However, not from Windows file Explore, or Linux Nautilus, or even
FileZilla...
It seems that these GUI FTP clients fail to retrieve the return path
from the HP3000, and fail to retrieve the file directory from the HP3000.

I've discovered, from the command-line clients, when I type 'ls', the
HP3000 returns output from 'LISTFILE ,2' not 'ls -l'.
I'm pretty sure the GUI clients are expecting the standard 'ls -l'
output, not 'LISTFILE ,2'.

So, how can I tell the HP3000 ftp server to use a standard 'ls -l', and
not 'LISTFILE ,2' ?

Any clues are much appreciated,
Michael Anderson.
