Tracy,
I have not. My last logging customer does not require logging
Any longer. I had it set up automatic logging and manipulated the large
Log files weekly. I'm on 7.5 with the latest patches.
We used NETBASE and our biggest problems in the past was if the
System crashed the message files would be corrupt.
Sorry.
Ray

Subject: Log Files Running Backwards
I attempted to do a manual CHANGELOG on current Image Log file and the console spit back with a new file name where the last three digits of the name was one number less than the current log file. In other words:
My current log file was MMMAN153
I was expecting new file MMMAN154
It tried to create file MMMAN152
(It was also miffed because MMMAN152 was already there.)
The image logs are set to auto change, but I wanted a manual this time.
I ended up purging the offending log files and erasing an old one with the correct file name (with MPEX) so it took.
Anyone ever seen that before?
