Thanks Keven, your suggestion works great and saves the users much time in trying to find the pdf document (created from the HP3000) on our window server!
All of us thank you!

I have reflection 13.
It appears that in your cmd file/window you are just placing the filename.
file.pdf
This is an unknown command to reflection.
Using RCL, I can do this.
SHELL START file.pdf
This should start up your pdf viewer as a separate process, returning to Reflection, staying active.

Subject: [HP3000-L] Mpe: Reflection auto display of .pdf file after auto xmit
Hello HP3000 listers,
Have an issue with Relfections 14. displaying a file.pdf on a users PC after it was previously received automatically from the HP3000.
Under the Window's Run CMD, I see the file, click the file.pdf and windows displays it.
This does not work via Reflections.. and yes Reflections sees the file.pdf but get error:
"Reflection for HP
Command Language Syntax Error
'%PDF-1.4' is not a valid command"
"%PDF-1.4" is the first line of the file.PDF of the file I sent to PC.
Any thoughts?
Anyone still kicking on this site?
Thank you in advance!
