I'm a great fan of SPOOLPDF/OPENPDF and we continue to use the openpdf product even though we've migrated to MPUX/HPUX.

Many years ago, I was starting to explore NBSPOOL from Orbit - but this was all canned when HP made their fateful announcement.

I've used txt2pdf from SANFACE, for about 100 bucks (back in Y2000).

Works on MPE.

But you also need CSL freebies PERL and SF2HTML on the HP3000.

Procedure:

Run SF2HTML (converts PCL spool files to HTML flat file.

Run an EDITOR to delete tags <HTML>, <BODY>, and <LISTING> Run Sanface's txt2pdf in PERL, makes a PDF in the POSIX directory.

(Purge leftover .txt files in POSIX).
