Hi Ed,

I still have the mighty mouse and you are welcome to it.  I think discussion stopped with getting it to Arizona.  If you want to talk about it again, let me know.

Best Regards,

the problem is  getting it  to Arizona...

hey  we  still need a  3000/37 mighty mouse also!

At the  risk of stating the obvious - there is something of value in/on
this  box:

It's MPE/iX License.

Even if it's not going to be  transferred to different "HP" hardware, it's
HPSUSAN *should* be useful to  power a copy of the Charon HPA/3000 emulator
(even if it's just used to enable  a 'freeware' copy).   [I'd intended to
write *could* here, but you  know - I think *should* fits better].  ;-)

The Charon license text  stipulates that to enable the freeware version -
even for personal use -  you're to use a HPSUSAN that you are 'owner' of
(i.e. - from a system under  your ownership/control).

If you're to use a production version  of Charon-HPA/3000 - you actually
have to work with them and HP to get the  HPSUSAN legally transferred
('moved') from the old hardware onto a 'USB'  license key used with the new
'virtual' system (rather like we have to do to  'transfer ownership' of the MPE/iX
license when a server is bought or  sold).

Seems to me that eventually, at least, HPSUSAN numbers from HP  hardware
running MPE/iX will have some value, if only for this.

Of  course - I could be interpreting the legal stuff here all wrong, and
I'd  welcome anyone that could help enlighten us.
