I remember in old Quiz 5.09 if you didn't have a default terminal type, you'd get a list of several dozen terminal types to choose from. I recall the Bee150, VT52, VT100, IBM3270, etc. It let you use a non-HP terminal on the HP3000 without any trouble.
(Wonder what happened to that feature?)
