I don't know about that particular model, but on a Canon copier we used to
have,
I couldn't use it as a network printer on the HP3000 unless I used a
JetDirect
print server on it, which then eliminated lots of functionality, so I didn't
use
it with the HP3000 at all. Since then, we replaced it with a Ricoh Aficio MP
C4000,
and that works wonderfully with the HP3000 as a network printer. Like I say,
I don't know about the model Canon you are using. Hopefully, your mileage
will vary.
On the Ricoh, I have pjl_supported = FALSE, jam_recovery = FALSE,
snmp_enabled = FALSE.
