Just for grins, can you check the listf ,-3 for each of the files that make up the database.  Just make sure they all match the security settings you showed for the root file.

Thanks Denys, I passed the info on to the developer whose application uses the DB.  Waitnig for the chance to validate.

Giles, good questions.  The DB we are having trouble with is not part of the production bases we changed, so suddenly having errors was a surprise.  For the changes, each individual set of the production DB was to set access at the file levels.
