I can testify as a recent eyewitness that Vladimir can travel for five days cross-Texas by lowest-cost rental car, sleep in Motel 6's, and tuck away a ribeye far neater and with more comfort than a certain newsletter editor. (I had half an 11-oz cut left over). At 75, Vladimir's the most vital septuagenerian I've seen since William Shatner. (TV lawyer Denny Crain, Priceline tout, songster and more).

We have a rousing host of high-output resources in their 60s, too. Retirement must be a boring prospect when you're that agile and clever. Or maybe it's the 3000 fountain of youth.
