I bet you a nickel that when booting you had a LLIO error and the drive was
not found.  (It could be a cabling or SCSI terminator issue.)  Therefore the
LDev number became available for sessions.  A reboot will be needed.

Have any backups worked on LDev 7 since you moved the system?
