In the message,
16:24 /#J1/52/stat on "/etc/bootptab": No such file or directory
The 52, is for the PIN number not the tape drive.
Job #J1 is probably JINETD.NET.SYS
If you look at the configuration file
INETDCNF.NET.SYS there is a line for "bootps"
Comment out that line and the problem should go away.
