Does anyone know what makes up the biggest part of JSMAIN? I've combined a couple of systems to one and caused CPU contention at times. One thing that looks to be causing this is a lot of JSMAIN going on. Not a lot of CPU but a lot of READ/WRITE.
Is this logon only? If so is there anything that can be tweaked to cut down the impact it has on the system.
1000+ sessions
60+ jobs
Lots of FTP logon from scripts moving files
Minisoft
ODBC
JDBC
Middleman
QSDK - inbound/outbound webservices
Some UDC's for system/account/users
I don't remember what the UDC performance issue was. Number of UDCs in the file? Size of the UDC file? Or Number of UDC files?..
Any suggestions or information from the past would be appreciated.
