I'm trying to do this statement in FTP

put FB021111 FB021111.txt;move

According to what I've seen on the help - the "move" should have deleted 
my HP3000 file FB021111, but it did not
And I must say that finding anything in a manual on FTP was a 
frustrating task.  What should be simple - do an online search
never seems to work out for me - I hate it, I hate it, I hate it !  
Sorry, that's "off topic" from my question - but I never seem to have
much luck in doing searches, in general, and even less luck in searching 
hp manuals.
