Nothing in mapper means either a SCSI address conflict or no termination on
the SCSI chain.

Thanks everyone for replying. I didn't get anything on my blackberry and
just
found everyone's responses in my trash folder. The weird thing is I didn't
see
anything in mapper. I'll try forcing the boot path to tape drive in the
morning, there is still another football game to go :)

Hi Chuck,

The most likely culprit is that the boot path is wrong.

Depending on the box, you can do an SEA to find out the path of the tape
drive(s) and (depending on the box) either change the boot path with the
PATH
command at the Main Menu, or if the box allows, do a BO path address (BO
10/4/0.5 for instance).

That should get you rolling again.

After replacing ldev 2 I am trying to boot the system from CSLT. Getting
this
error ENTRY_TEST STATUS = 0 FAILED TO INITIALIZE ENTRY_INIT STATUS = -4

I have tried 2 different CSLT tapes and get the same error.

Anyone have any ideas?
