I have also been on the 3000-L since the mid 90's. I still work with
multiple 3000's on a daily basis. But the 3000-L (or the "L" as I say
sometimes) has been a place where I have picked up lots info on all
kinds of subjects, not limited to, but mostly about the tech industry.
Prior to 2001, the "L" was not just a HP3000 place, it was a place where
you'd find many seasoned technical experts that were willing to share
there wisdom and knowledge, and I couldn't even begin to name them all.
I don't know how many times I've said 'Ho yeah! I heard it on the "L"'.

Kinda reminds me of an old ZZ Top song.
Mike.
