Can you do a SHOWDEV TAPE and SHOWDEV DDS?   Is the device listed?

If it is not, is it powered up?  If it is, it may be disconnected somehow,
or worse, broken.

During the backup we get the following message "No file equation found for
designator "DDS". The system has been rebooted. It appears as if the tape
drive is not being recognized. Is there a simple fix.
